1.                RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.1               Conduct / organise periodical safety audits / inspection / site survey with individual / CFT and identify appropriate OFI’s / areas of improvements.

1.2               Conduct Risk assessment by using various tools and techniques like HIRA, HAZOP, JSA, CTI, HAZOP and define control measures proactively.

1.3               Implementation and continual improvements EHS Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018), Corporate Guidelines and Directives.

1.4               Evaluation, monitoring and compliance of all the EHS legal requirements.

1.5               Liasoning with Govt. agencies like MPCB, DISH, PESO, Fire Office etc.

1.6               Monitoring of environmental parameters on STP/ETP, MPCB consent conditions, Air / Water / Hazardous waste relevant compliances etc.

1.7               Preparation of MIS, monitoring of Leading and Lagging indicators time to time and reporting to management, corporate team (CPSA).

1.8               Effectively implementation of the EHS systems for non-routine activities like POWERA, Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Work Permit Systems, TBT, LOTO etc.

1.9               Investigation of industrial incidents - in Velocity EHS software, 8D, Why-Why etc.

1.10           Organize promotional activities, campaigns, competitions, contests, motivational schemes etc.

1.11           Implementation of Behaviour Based Safety through out the plant to build and enhance to Safety culture in the plant. EHS trainings and educational programs – Technical, Motivational, Statutory, Behavioural etc.

1.12           Maintaining Active and Passive Fire Protection / Fighting systems healthy.

1.13           Overall control on the EHS related matters in the complete plant.

1.14           To advise on safety, occupational health & environmental aspects in all job studies and to carry out detailed job safety studies of selected jobs.

 

2.           EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

2.1               Education – Technical qualification – Graduation in Engineering / Science (Physics or Chemistry) or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical + Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) + Environmental Diploma.

2.2               Experience - A minimum 10 years of experience in the field of EHS (Environment, Health and Safety).
