Electrical Design Engineer- Water Treatment Industry-Chennai

Requirements

• First class with distinction in Bachelor (or) master’s degree in electrical engineering with minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in water industry preferred, or equivalent plant design industry experience - such as power, chemical, pharmaceutical, marine, oil and gas industry etc.
• Strong Knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical drawing schematic and panel GA and BOM release activity.
• Strong Knowledge in Vault Pro design Data manage system
• Demonstrated experience in understanding P&ID diagrams, Control Matrices, I/O Lists, ISA tags and symbols, electrical schematics, plus the ability to perform markups.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Soft Starters etc.,
• Familiar with basic networking (Ethernet, ControlNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, Modbus, RS-485, etc.,).
• Strong knowledge of process instrumentation including flow, pressure, temperature measurement devices and methodologies.
• Strong Knowledge of analytical process equipment (pH, ORP, conductivity, etc.).
• Familiar with Industry Standards NEMA, UL, etc. Knowledge with NEC, IECEx and ATEX standards would be advantages.
