Manager - Collections
India
Key Responsibilities:

Drive, lead, and manage the collections team to ensure the timely collection of dues as per contractual terms.

Identify and implement follow-up actions required for outstanding payments, negotiating settlements with clients wherever possible.

Prepare and present monthly forecast reviews, detailing prior month results and providing forward-looking forecasts to top management.

Lead weekly cash flow forecast reviews in collaboration with upper management, providing month-end forecast projections and variances to the original forecast.

Perform reviews of Accounts Receivable ageing and assess the recoverability of items aged older than 60 days.

Resolve escalations and disputes from Operating Companies/Clients in a timely and appropriate manner.

Act as a functional subject matter expert and programmatic lead for multiple conferences/engagements, interfacing with service providers and stakeholder agencies.

Ensure compliance with audit and SOX requirements through continuous review of internal controls.

Propose and publish metrics and KPIs to be incorporated into monthly financials and scorecards.

Manage and monitor the quality of the team's output, providing coaching on technical issues, and making procedural documentation and standards improvements recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in collections management or related financial roles.

Media and Creative or any service collections background preferred.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting.

Experience with ERP systems and implementation is desirable.

Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving goals.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
